Set to meet for the first time since their Western Conference Semi-finals matchup at Walt Disney World, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets will face off at Toyota Center. Although they lost the series opener, the Lakers made easy work of Houston in five games on their way to claiming the NBA title. John Wall could be the key for the Rockets to turn things around; he has averaged 27.0 points and 12.0 assists from his last 10 appearances against the Lakers. More recently, Houston blew out Orlando 132-90 to move to 3-4 in 2020-21. Elsewhere, the Lakers rose to 7-3 through a tight 117-115 home victory against Chicago. Anthony Davis missed that contest and along with LeBron James is questionable for this one.
