Manly Sea Eagles vs New Zealand Warriors Preview
Manly Sea Eagles will aim to play spoilers when they welcome the New Zealand Warriors to 4 Pines Park on Friday night. Finals are all but out of reach for Manly after last week’s results, but a spirited 40-24 victory over the Dragons proved they’re still prepared to fight, and they’ll be eager to bring that same energy against a top-four hopeful.
The Warriors’ 26-22 loss to Parramatta has left their double-chance ambitions under threat, though they can take heart from their 36-16 triumph over the Sea Eagles back in Round 2. Consistency away from Auckland, however, remains a lingering concern for Andrew Webster’s side.
Manly will be forced to reshuffle with strike centre Tolu Koula sidelined, paving the way for Clayton Faulalo to start and rookie Joey Walsh to debut off the bench. For the Warriors, Samuel Healey steps in at hooker for the injured Wayde Egan. With stakes high and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty of intensity.
Head To Head Bet
We're tipping Manly Sea Eagles to win at $1.50 odds.
