Popular North Melbourne defender Nathan Grima has signed a one-year contract extension with the AFL club.
Grima, who delighted teammates by kicking his first AFL goal last weekend after 72 games, will miss Saturday’s match against Hawthorn with a foot injury.
The announcement came hours after the Kangaroos had confirmed veteran Brent Harvey would also go on for a 19th season.
“I love being at the club and never had an intention of going elsewhere,” the 28-year-old told the club website.
“It’s great to be here for another 12 months at this stage and hopefully beyond.”
