French Open Tennis Mens and Womens Finals Odds and Betting Preview – 2021

It’s unfamiliar territory for world number one Novak Djokoivc but he will go into a Grand Slam semi-final as a $3.40 outsider with TAB, when he tries to conquer the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal at the French Open on Friday.

In a match-up worthy of a final, Nadal is $1.30 to reach another decider at Roland Garros, in a tournament he has claimed 13 times, won 105 singles matches and lost only twice – the last time was to Djokovic in 2015.

The Spanish superstar is $1.55 favourite to win the tournament and clinch a 21st Grand Slam and while the Joker has a 29-28 winning record over Nadal, he hasn’t beaten him on clay in five years.

Stefanos Tsitsipas ($1.40) is favourite over Alexander Zverev ($2.90) in the other semi.

Betting in the Women’s tournament has been turned on its head with Maria Sakkari’s victory over world number one and defending French Open champion, Iga Swiatek, resulting in four first-time Grand Slam semi-finalists fighting for a breakthrough major title.

Sakkari’s the new favourite after ending Swiatek ‘s 11-match winning streak, shortening from $15 into $2.25. She’ll play Barbora Krejcikova ($2.50) in the second semi tomorrow morning while two Russians clash for the first time in the first semi. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova ($1.58) is favoured to go through over Tamara Zidansek ($2.40).
