Weight of money at TAB suggests Melbourne City and Sydney FC will be the last two teams standing in the A-League as the finals series gets underway on Saturday night.

City and Sydney FC are joint $2.50 favourites to win the Grand Final on June 26 and hold more than twice as much money as any of their four rivals.

The pair did battle in last year’s Grand Final where the Sky Blues prevailed, taking their third decider in four seasons.

Saturday’s first Elimination Final sees the Central Coast do battle with Macarthur with TAB seeing a slight inward move for Alen Stajcic’s men ($2-$1.95). They are three times as popular as the Bulls in early betting.
