Devin Harris scored the winning points by converting a three-point play with four-and-a-half seconds left as the Utah Jazz beat Miami 99-98 on Friday, snapping the Heat’s nine-game NBA winning streak.
Harris was fouled by Heat star Dwyane Wade on a driving lay-up with the Jazz down by one point. He made the lay-up then sank a free throw to cap the scoring and give the Jazz their second consecutive win.
Miami’s Udonis Haslem had a chance to win for the Heat on Friday but his jump shot at the buzzer missed.
A half dozen Utah players finished in double figures, comprising Al Jefferson (20), C.J. Miles (14), Harris (13), Gordon Hayward (12), Enes Kanter (11) and Josh Howard (10).
LeBron James finished with 35 points, and 10 rebounds, six assists, while Wade scored 31 for Miami.
