Australia choose to bat in T20

Australia have won the toss and elected to bat first in the final Twenty20 international against England at ANZ Stadium on Sunday night.

England are fighting to avoid a record 12th loss for the tour, before flying home first-thing Monday morning.

The tourists were swept in the Test series, beaten 4-1 in the ODI series and are now staring down the barrel of a Twenty20 whitewash.

Australia have made two changes to the side that defeated England at the MCG on Friday, with Dan Christian replacing Chris Lynn and Ben Cutting into the bowling attack for Josh Hazlewood.

Captain George Bailey had no hesitation in choosing to bat first at the tiny ANZ Stadium, where the straight boundaries are just 55 metres long.

In-form opener Cameron White will be looking to continue his run-scoring streak and continue his rivalry with England bowler Jade Dernbach.

England have also made two changes, with Ben Stokes back for Michael Lumb and Chris Jordan to debut for James Tredwell.

Skipper Stuart Broad is one of just three England players to have been in Australia for the duration of their tour from hell.

Australia: Aaron Finch, Cameron White, Glenn Maxwell, George Bailey, Brad Hodge, Matt Wade, Dan Christian, Ben Cutting, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Muirhead, Kane Richardson (12th man)

England: Alex Hales, Luke Wright, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Ravi Bopara, Tim Bresnan, Chris Jordan, Stuart Broad, Jade Dernbach.
