Jordan Thomspon’s giant-killing run at the ATP Tour’s Miamio Open has continued with a straight-sets third-round win over Grigor Dimitrov.

Australian world No.77 Thompson advanced to the last 16 with a 7-5 7-5 victory over Bulgarian 24th seed Grigor Dimitrov – a round after he dispatched the Masters 1000 tournament’s 10th seed Karen Khachanov.

Thompson will play Kevin Anderson for a spot in the quarter-finals after the South African sixth seed conquered Portugal’s Joao Sousa 6-4 7-6 (8-6).
