Ashleigh Barty has defeated America’s Madison Keys to put Australia up 2-1 in their Fed Cup World Group first round clash.
Barty overcame a shaky start to steamroll the world No.17 6-4 6-1 in Asheville, North Carolina, on Sunday.
Australia needs one victory in day’s remaining two rubbers for the upset win over the US and move into the World Group semi-finals against Belarus in April.
