This is the least inspiring clash of the weekend between two sides that have really failed to fire this far.

Burnley’s previously stingy defence is working overtime to cover for the second worst attack in the competition and the latter is a big reason why they are yet to win.

Southampton has drawn half of its matches despite boasting the third worst attack in the Premier League and finally got its first win with a 1-0 triumph over Leeds last weekend.

On the surface it makes sense for the Saints to be favoured but I just can’t see how you can back either team with any confidence right now.

A point each way seems like a solid value option given the struggles of both clubs.
