View our preview and teams for the game between Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers.

When: 17:00 | Sunday 29/10/2017

Where: McDonald Jones Stadium

Preview:

The Wanderers travel to Hunter Stadium on the back of two tough games; the Sydney Derby on Saturday and a very physical FFA Cup semi final loss against Adelaide United. They were excellent in the early stages of the Derby and whilst they didn’t dominate the Sky Blues they did create goal scoring chances and converted them early.

The Jets are sitting second on the A-League table after an emotional 2-1 win against Brisbane where they lost Ronald Vargas for four to five months with a horrible injury. This is a close match-up although we favour the Jets on account of them being fresher, at home and with a more dominant attacking structure with O’Donovan and Nabbout.

FINAL SAY: The major concern for the Wanderers is their ability to win matches. Last season they could only manage to draw and despite having an improved squad this season they already have consecutive draws.
