German soccer club Kaiserslautern has reported a group of fans to police after they allegedly insulted Israel striker Iltay Shechter with Hitler salutes.

The struggling Bundesliga club says the incident occurred during practice on Sunday, one day after a 4-0 loss at Mainz dropped Kaiserslautern to next to last.

Kaiserslautern says the group of “fewer than 10” people belongs to a group of hooligans that have been banned from games for years.

The club has asked police to investigate the incident.
