The action takes us back to Brisbane on Saturday afternoon and a quality contest between the Roar and Phoenix awaits.
It was a far better performance mustered by the Roar in Week 14 and a well-deserved draw with the second-placed Melbourne City. They do line up opposite one of the league’s formed sides this week, however and nothing short of an improved effort will be required to win.
The Phoenix have well and truly exceeded expectations already but show no signs of slowing, and there is no doubt that this match looms as another terrific opportunity for them. Last week’s win over the out-of-form Wanderers was comfortable, but they too will need to be at their best for this harder contest.
