This market is skewed in favour of the American Athing Mu ($1.36), but I think that there is value in backing the Ethiopian Habitam Alemu to medal.
Alemu made the final of this event as a fresh-faced 19-year-old in 2016, and she has continued to improve with each season in the wake.
She finished second in the second Semi-Final and is primed for another big performance tonight.
BET: Alemu to Medal at $2.50
Second selection:
Hodgkinson is one of the British contingent that is hoping to at the very least win a medal behind the red hot favourite Athing Mu from the USA.
Having won her Semi Final in an impressive time of 1:59.12 she looks over the odds to finish in a medal position and is well worth backing in here.
By comparison, the first Semi Final was won by Natoya Goule from Jamaica in 1:59.77 and Mu won the second Semi Final in a ridiculous 1:58.07.
Expect her to really go for it here and she is more than good enough to claim a medal here.
