BOXING

Women’s 57kg – Gold
BET: Sena Irie at $3.260

Stunning price here on the Japanese boxer Sena Irie. She takes on veteran Nesthy Pestecio. These two have met three times and the local hero has beaten her twice in three fights.

ATHLETICS

Women’s Javelin – Gold

BET: Lu Huihui at $3.50

The women’s Javelin shapes as an amazing contest. Plumping for Chinese veteran Lu Huihui, who has thrown over 67.59 in each of the last four years. She has medalled at each of the last three world champs.

Men’s Pole Vault – Gold

BET: Armand Duplantis at $1.10

Fancy the favourite Noah Lyles is a touch short in this one. Lyles is 3-0 all-time against Bednarek but the last two meetings have seen Lyles win by just 0.04s. These are the two best over 200m and there is no focus on the 100m like De Grasse has.

Men’s 200m – Gold – Gold

BET: Kenneth Bendarek at 6.00

The hammer throw looks a brilliant contest between the two elite Poles and rising American Rudy Winkler. Will be laying the American with a fair degree of confidence. The even money fave is Pawel Fajdek but Nowicki has beaten him in 10 of their last 16 meetings and did claim the bronze in Rio.

Men’s 400m – Gold

BET: Rai Benjamin at 2.40

Of the six fastest times recorded in the 400m hurdles this year, Benjamin has recorded three of them while the three-on favourite has just two. Warholm has a best of 0.13s better this season but the silver medal winner from the 2019 World Champs has the upside to step up to the gold here.

CYCLING

Women’s Team Pursuit – Medal

BET: Germany at $1.57

Germany may be sneaking under the radar in the women’s team pursuit. They had the fastest time in the worlds last year. They took home the bronze in the worlds. That 4.11 in the qualifications though was exceptional. They are right in this.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Men’s 109kg – Gold

BET: Akbar Djuarev at $1.10

Only two can win the men’s 109kg. The odds-on favourite looks a fair lay though. He had a significant leg injury and also has criminal charges hanging over his head after killing someone in a motor vehicle accident. Djuarev the play.
