Lauren Price

Women’s Middleweight – Gold
BET: Gleb Bahsky at $1.83

The No.1 seed in the women’s middleweight division, Lauren Price has swept all before her. She has two unanimous decision wins in Tokyo and has not lost since 2018. Down to the final four she is the one to beat.

CYCLING

Women’s Sprint – Gold

BET: Anastasia Voinova (ROC) at $7.50

The No.1 sprinter in the world. The Russian won the Nations Cup spring in July and the European Championships in November 2020. She will be looking to atone for her 8th in Rio but she did pick up a silver in the team’s event.

ATHLETICS

Men’s 5000m – Gold

BET: Mohamed Katir (ESP) at $2.70

Spaniard Katir is the new rising star of the middle distance scene and his youthful aggression should hold him in good stead. He ran fourth in Florence and will have the freshest legs in the race having passed both the 1500 and 10000.

Men’s 4x100m – Gold

BET: Great Britain at $5.50

Team GB remarkably had two men disqualified during the 100m including Zharnel Hughes in the final. They have three sub-10 men in the team and can go far better than the 38.27 they have run this year. Look overs.

Women’s 4x100m – Gold

BET: Jamaica at $1.20

This is money for old rope. Jamaica ran the trifecta in the 100m and won’t be losing this for any other reason than self-implosion. The WR is in danger here. Give the great Shelly-Anne Fraser-Price another gold.

Women’s 400m – Gold

BET: Quanera Hayes at $26.00

Shaunae Miller-Uibo pulled out the run of a lifetime to post the best time this year in April but not sure she should be $1.20 in a red-hot race. Quanera Hayes won the 400m at the US trials and has two of the top 13 times this year.

Matej Toth (SVK) – Men’s 50km Walk

Slovakian race walker back to defend his 50km gold medal won at Rio. He took some time off in 2018 but then set a world-leading time in 2020. Only Satoshi Mauro has bettered it this year. Looks to have snuck under the radar.
