A welterweight fight will headline the card at the UFC Apex this Sunday in Las Vegas.

Rafael dos Anjos vs Vicente Luque

Vicente Luque made his pro MMA debut at just 18 years of age and entered the UFC back in 2015.
He won 14 of 16 fights at one stage with his only losses coming against now champion Leon Edwards and Wonderboy Thompson, both by decision.
He does come into this fight having lost his last two, which included his first defeat via KO to Geoff Neal this time last year.
Rafael dos Anjos has been an incredible servant of MMA and he is entering the 47th pro fight in this match up.
He is, of course, a former champion of the Lightweight division but after a loss to Rafael Fiziev he went back up to Welterweight and beat Bryan Barberena.
RDA comes into this fight having won three of his last four and remains one of the most well rounded fighters in the organisation.
Vicente Luque has been inside the octagon for a long period of time but is only 31 years of age.
19 of his 21 career wins have been via finish and although he runs into a really tough and gritty opponent I give the edge that he finds a way to win.
Hakeem Dawodu vs Cub Swanson
Tip: Fight Not To Go The Distance
Hakeem Dawodu lost his first fight in the UFC back in 2018 but then went on a five fight win streak.
He’s now lost two of his last three and missed weight in this division back in September last year, a fight he ultimately lost to Julian Erosa via decision.
Cub Swanson is a stalwart of the UFC, making his WEC debut in March of 2007 on a card that took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and was headlined by Carlos Condit and John Alessio.
His career took a nose dive when losing four in a row, but he has bounced back, winning three of his last five.
This profiles as a cracker of a co main event and I’m expecting plenty of fireworks and would be surprised if the judges were needed.
Khalil Rountree vs Chris Daukaus
Tip: Chris Daukaus @ $2.50
Khalil Rountree is a beast of a human and enters this fight off the back off three wins in a row.
Fighting out of Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand, he has seven wins via KO/TKO and four by decision.
Chris Daukaus had won 10 of 11 fights during one stage of his career and he won his first four fights in the UFC.
That momentum has been stalled in recent times and he now lost three fights in a row by KO/TKO.
11 of his 12 wins have been via KO/TKO and I’m interested to see whether he fights fire with fire or takes a more cautious approach against a dangerous opponent.
Either way I think he is the value bet in what should be a very intriguing and tactical bout.
