Canberra coach Ricky Stuart has labelled as ridiculous the four-day turnaround between the City-Country Origin match and his side’s Thursday night NRL clash with St George Illawarra.

The Raiders have several players eligible to play in the representative clash on Sunday week, including Paul Vaughan, Shannon Boyd and potentially Aidan Sezer and injured five-eighth Blake Austin.

“I’d like a change because it’s unfair that ourselves and the Dragons have to play four days after a Sunday game,” Stuart said on Thursday.
