Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is confident Jack Riewoldt will be fit for Saturday night’s vital AFL clash against Port Adelaide.

Hardwick said the star forward had recovered remarkably well from the ankle injury he sustained in last week’s loss to Melbourne and would be named in the team on Thursday night.

Hardwick also confirmed star veteran Brett Deledio would play his first game of the season after overcoming a quad injury, as the Tigers look to get their season back on track after a 1-4 start.
