“Since we opened the markets in December last year it has been all but a procession towards Queensland but in the last few days we’ve seen a shift towards New South Wales,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

“It is still pretty one sided in favour of the Maroons but the interest in the Blues is slowly building.”

Queensland remain $1.48 favourites to win Game 1 with New South Wales at $2.70 while the Maroons are at $1.45 to win the series with the Blues at $2.80.
