Cronulla and NSW five-eighth James Maloney will be rested for Saturday night’s NRL clash with Gold Coast at Cbus Super Stadium.
The Sharks’ four other State of Origin representatives – Jack Bird, Andrew Fifita, Valentine Holmes and Wade Graham – will play, with Bird moving into the vacant five-eighth role and Fifita on the bench.
