Gold Coast have fought off interest from a number of rival NRL clubs to re-sign forward Ryan James until at least the end of 2020.
James, 25, enjoyed a breakout season for the Titans in 2016, where he scored 12 tries and ran over 3000 metres.
“They talk about becoming a one-club man and there is potential for it now. I’ll be 29 at the end of this contract, so hopefully I can achieve that and be the person that everyone aspires to be,” James said.
