Robinson free to face Tigers in NRL

Parramatta winger Reece Robinson has had his grade two dangerous tackle on South Sydney’s Joel Reddy downgraded at the NRL judiciary.

Robinson will now be free to face Wests Tigers on Easter Monday.

After a 45-minute hearing the three-man panel of Matt Cooper, Sean Garlick and Royce Ayliffe made the decision after less than five minutes of deliberation.

Robinson, who would have missed three matches had he failed to get the charge reduced, has instead been hit with 93 carryover points.

Rookie Manly prop Jake Trbojevic has pleaded not guilty to a grade one dangerous throw and will face the committee to argue his case.

The front-rower won’t miss any games if he is unsuccessful.
