Radradra set to walk out on Eels: report

Australian winger Semi Radradra is reportedly set to walk out of his Parramatta NRL contract.

According to the Nine Network, the Eels’ player boarded a plane on Saturday morning for Fiji, telling the club he was not coming back.

Radradra wants to pursue a rugby union career in France but is contracted with Parramatta beyond this season.

In a possible compromise, however, Nine is reporting the club is willing to let him go to France to play rugby from August to April, but on the basis that he comes back to the Eels to be part of their 2017 campaign.

In a further twist, Parramatta are apparently seeking a new three-year deal with Radradra on his return.
