Penrith have opened as hot favourites for next weekend’s sudden death semi-final against Parramatta, with TAB pricing the Panthers at $1.25 to bounce back and reach the Preliminary Final against Melbourne the following week.

After surviving their knockout clash against Newcastle, the Eels are $4 outsiders to eliminate Penrith, who are the best backed team to win the title with 31 percent of TAB’s Premiership market.

Penrith’s upset loss to South Sydney saw their title odds drift from $2.75 to $3.75, while Parramatta are rated a $29 chance.

There has been strong money for Melbourne since Friday night, the Storm are now $2.10 Premiership favourites while the Rabbitohs’ odds were cut from $11 into $5.50.
