This is a big week for quarterbacks, so it’s only fitting that Matthew Stafford should make his Rams debut against Andy Dalton, who is also making his Bears debut on Sunday Night Football.

Los Angeles has a -7.5 head start in this one, which looks about right given Stafford is facing a team he knows very, very well after spending 11 years in the NFC North.

Although Cam Akers’ season-ending injury hurts, the Rams are also stacked from top to bottom on both sides of the ball – making Stafford’s job a lot easier than it ever was in Detroit.

Darrell Henderson is capable of handling the load left from Akers’ absence, while Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp remain one of the best wide receiver tandems in the league.

Perhaps most importantly though, the Rams feature one-man wrecking crew and current Defensive Player of the Year favourite, Aaron Donald.

Last year, Nick Foles was sacked four times and intercepted twice by the Rams’ defence, so it’s safe to say Chicago’s offensive line could be in for another rough night.
