Parramatta has closed the gap on Melbourne and the Roosters in Premiership betting with TAB, following Round One of the NRL season.
The Eels were cut from $13 into $9 and now hold 18% of the Premiership market, narrowly behind the Storm with 19% and the Roosters with 20%.
Premiers, Penrith tightened from $5 into $4 favourites for the title but remain the fifth best backed side behind Manly, the side they accounted for in the season opener. The Sea Eagles have drifted from $8.50 to $11 and the Rabbitohs from $9 to $12.
