Veteran Sydney Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello has agreed to a new one-year deal that will ensure he goes around for the NRL club for a 14th successive season in 2013.
The 2005 Golden Boot winner had looked set to leave the Roosters at the end of this campaign, but a consistent start to the season has persuaded the board to offer the former Kangaroos and NSW star a contract.
Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce will officially announce the 31-year-old’s new deal on Friday afternoon.
