Queensland back-rower Felise Kaufusi says he can create a left edge threat with five-eighth Cameron Munster to rival Johnathan Thurston’s combination with Gavin Cooper.
Kaufusi has switched from the right side ahead of Wednesday’s State of Origin opener and says his understanding with Melbourne teammate Munster can transform him into the dangerous try scoring edge runner Cooper became off Thurston.
“Definitely. (Munster) is going to steer the ship on that left edge. I will be there as his support act – it’s a pretty dangerous edge if you ask me,” Kaufusi said.
