Eddie Hayson has claimed he helped save Kieran Foran’s life, amid the troubled NRL star’s personal battles this year.
The controversial punter, who again denied links to NRL match fixing on Thursday, said he and Foran had remained close while the playmaker was staying on the Central Coast, before and after he was granted leave from Parramatta for personal reasons.
“Kieran went through some really dark times this year, and if I wasn’t in his life he probably wouldn’t be alive,” Hayson said.
