Brisbane have played down the early departure of back-rower Alex Glenn from training ahead of Saturday night’s NRL qualifying final against North Queensland.

Glenn was conspicuous by his absence after leaving Broncos training on Monday after missing last round’s loss to Melbourne due to a dangerous contact ban.

But teammate Corey Parker said Glenn was not in doubt for their Suncorp Stadium finals opener.

“We are just keeping him in cotton wool,” Parker said.
