Gallen approached for City-Country return

Former NSW captain Paul Gallen has reportedly been urged to consider coming out of representative retirement to play in next week’s City-Country Origin game.

Cronulla captain Gallen ended his representative career last year as the most-capped NSW skipper after 10 years playing State of Origin.

The 35-year-old was approached by City coach Brad Fittler to play in the annual fixture on May 7, according to News Corp Australia.
