It’s never easy travelling to Canberra but to have to make the trip, for a Monday night game in the depths of winter when, as the Broncos are, you’re struggling for a win, it’s tougher again.
The Broncos have lost four of their last five and last week, without their Origin stars on hand, were handed a hiding by the New Zealand Warriors last Monday night.
The loss took the Broncos record to 5-7 this year and they found themselves outside the eight and sliding.
The Raiders support a similar record 5-6 from their 11 games and have also lost their last two games as well, to Cronulla (30-20) and Manly (16-10) both away but, they return home where from four starts this season, they remain unbeaten.
Both sides scored a win when these two sides met twice last year but at home, and with Brisbane struggling to find their best at present, the Raiders should prevail.
