St Kilda Saints vs West Coast Eagles 2013 AFL Round 11 preview and tips

The only game scheduled for Sunday sees St. Kilda hosting West Coast, both coming off heaving defeats.

St. Kilda’s loss was their third in succession and eighth of the season. They were never in the hunt against North (133-65) and, should they be competitive here, would need to produce a significant form reversal.

It was the fourth time in the past five weeks that the Saints have failed to register more than 77 points.

West Coast’s loss was their first in four weeks and came at the hands of Richmond on Monday night (103-62).

At home and given their recent form, it was a poor performance by West Coast and continues a worrying trend for the Eagles who this season, have yet beaten a team who are in the eight.

The last time these two sides met resulted in a win to West Coast, their first over St. Kilda since 2008.

St. Kilda’s two wins have come from the five games they’ve played at Etihad this year but would expect that, on their recent performances, West Coast would be too strong.

TIP: WEST COAST 1 – 29
