Boyd Cordner says he feels more at ease than before previous State of Origin appearances despite taking over the NSW captaincy.

After just six Origin appearances, the 24-year-old will become the Blues’ third youngest skipper and comes up against Queensland captain Cameron Smith who is making a record 40th Origin appearance.

Cordner said he was full of nerves before previous Origins but was feeling settled with the added responsibility.
