Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Day is one of the most anticipated racing events of the season, with a range of great races to look forward to and lots of off-track action to keep everyone entertained. While the $400,000 Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes is the highlight of the program, there is a strong supporting card at Caulfield Racecourse and a number of dining and hospitality options available on the day.

There are a total of eight events held on Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Day, with the first race run at 12.45pm and the main event run at 4.55pm.

Race 2 – BMW Handicap – 13:20
Race 3 – Programmed Property Services Handicap – 13:55
Race 4 – TMB Printing Handicap – 14:30
Race 5 – Melbourne Horse Transport Handicap – 15:05
Race 6 – Spicer Thoroughbreds Testa Rossa Stakes – 15:40
Race 7 – BECK Caulfield Guineas Prelude – 16:15
Race 8 – Clamms Seafood Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes – 16:55

Along with the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, the two other feature events include the Group 3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude and the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes. Because it is being held on AFL Grand Final weekend, Caulfield Racecourse has set up some cross-promotions between Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Day and the AFL Grand Final.
Free admission on the day is being offered to anyone with either:

– 2013 AFL Grand Final ticket
– Valid 2013 Hawthorn Football Club membership card
– Valid 2013 Fremantle Football Club membership card

Otherwise, admission is $15 for adults and $10 for concession card holders.
