Harry Coffey suspension reduced on appeal

Apprentice Harry Coffey is free to ride at Caulfield following a successful appeal to the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.

Coffey was handed a 10-meeting careless riding suspension at Moonee Valley last Friday night and appealed the severity of sentence to the RAD Board on Tuesday.

The apprentice was successful and had two meetings shaved off the sentence, freeing him to ride at Caulfield on Saturday.

Coffey needs another five city winners to outride his claim before his apprenticeship finishes at the end of the month.
