Globetrotting stayer heavily backed to win Caulfield Cup 2013

English stayer Dandino has emerged as the invader the punters believe can win Saturday’s Caulfield Cup.

$500 CAULFIELD CUP FREE BET

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has received massive support for Dandino, who has raced in England, United States, Germany and Dubai, firming from $11 into $8.00.

Hawkspur ($4.20) heads the cup market, with Royal Descent ($7.50) next in betting.

A huge plus for Dandino is that the seven-year-old will be ridden by Craig Williams, who chases his third consecutive Caulfield Cup.

“The Cup looks an open race, but not according to punters. They have smashed Dandino, who holds three times more money than any other runner. European horses have a good record when it comes to our cups and it seems the wraps are huge for this horse,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

Silent Achiever moves onto the fourth line of betting, firming from $10 into $9.00, while Jet Away ($15 into $13) and Fawkner ($21 into $15) have made notable moves in betting.
