Saturday’s Flemington race meeting has been brought forward to a 10.30am start with reduced times between races because of anticipated hot weather.

The program will now finish at 2.45pm ahead of what is expected to be the hottest part of the day.

Changes to other Victorian meetings are being considered over the next few days because of the heat.
