Pakistan lead England by 180 after 2 days

Former captain Younis Khan scored the first century of the series and propelled Pakistan to 2-222 against England in the third and final Test on Saturday.

Khan grafted an unbeaten 115 and youngster Azhar Ali was 75 not out as Pakistan finished the second day with a productive overall lead of 180 runs.

Khan and Ali batted fluently for more than four hours, a remarkable turnaround on a pitch that led to Pakistan being bowled out for 99 and England also struggling to 6-104 on the first day.

Captain Andrew Strauss hit a gritty 56 before England was bowled out for 141 in their first first innings earlier on Saturday.

Leftarm spinner Abdur Rehman claimed 5-40 and offspinner Saeed Ajmal stretched his tally in the series to 20 wickets with 3-59.
