India will take some beating: Faulkner

James Faulkner says it’s no surprise India have found form after a miserable start to their Australian tour.

India failed to post a single victory over Australia in the Test series and ODI tri-series.

But MS Dhoni’s men have banked seven straight wins at the World Cup to soar into Thursday’s semi-final against Australia at the SCG.

“They’ve spent a fair bit of time in the country, so they’ve adapted well to the conditions,” Faulkner said of India’s past four months.

“It’s no surprise they’re up against us in the semi-final, they’re a very strong team.

“Every time I’ve come up against them, it’s been a very good game of cricket and gone right down to the wire.

“You’re going to see two very good teams going up against each other, it should be a very good spectacle.”
