Add 45,000 to the big AFL numbers that North Melbourne are celebrating.
In the week that Brent Harvey plays his record 427th match, the Kangaroos have also set a club membership mark.
It is the first time they have had more than 45,000 members.
“There is a lot to celebrate this week obviously, but we set a really strong target of 45,000 members and it’s fantastic that our supporters are getting on board,” said coach Brad Scott.
North have had five-straight years of membership growth, with the number doubling since 2007.
It is particularly significant for the `Roos, given they have one of the smaller supporter bases among the AFL clubs.
