Two undefeated heavyweights of the AFLW go at this Saturday night at Casey Fields with the Dees hosting the Kangas in an absolute blockbuster.

After a bit of an arm-wrestle in the first quarter against the Tigers, Melbourne was able to pull away and dominate on the scoreboard cruising to a 28 point win.

Melbourne has made it clear that they want to score more this season.

Last year, the Dees averaged 34 points during the home and away season, and so far in 2021 the Dee s have scored 56 and 44 points – 50 being the average.

Playing the juggernaut that is the North Melbourne AFLW team will be a good test for them.

North Melbourne didn’t put on a clinic against the Saints, but they were most certainly clinical.

St Kilda made them work for it, but North was composed and simply too good as they flexed their muscle with a comfortable 26 point win.

Two rounds into the AFLW season, North has conceded just one goal in both of their matches.

Melbourne should prove to be better opposition for the Kangaroos this Saturday night, but this is a team very much on a mission.

Expect the Dees to give them a run for their money, but North Melbourne will make it 3-0 to start season 2021.
