The Cats are in a poor spot heading into the AFL finals, not really making any statement as a top four side in the second half of the year.

Despite their lack of dominance, they’ll find themselves in the top four with a likely win over the Eagles at the Cattery.

The Eagles season has been a bag of mixed emotions, showing improvement, but still failing to bridge the gap between young and old in the side.

Geelong’s age profile has still caused them some problems defensively, as they’ve been left wanting in transition, conceding the second-highest points against for teams in the top eight this year.

This matchup should cause little to no issues, but Geelong has weirdly looked more vulnerable at home than anywhere else this year.

West Coast’s ball skills have been the most questionable part of their game this year, and when they’re off, they’re extremely bad.
