Injured St Kilda key defender Sam Fisher is set to make a return through the VFL in two weeks’ time.

He hasn’t played since the Saints’ AFL loss to Adelaide on May 28 because of a hamstring injury.

“I will hopefully be back into full training next week and then a chance to play the week after,” Fisher told RSN radio on Wednesday.

“That probably will be in the VFL with the amount of time I’ve spent out.

“So hopefully I’ll play there and get through the game well and … get back in the side after that.”
