Chris Judd resumes training

Carlton skipper Chris Judd has returned to full training today after having a minor surgery on his troublesome shoulder last month.

Judd sent a scare through the Blues camp last month when it was reported that scans were needed on the shoulder that he injured reportedly in bed.

While Judd trained with the main group for the first time since the injury he was forced to sit out of the contact drills.

Star defender Michael Jamison said that Judd would definitely play in the clubs NAB Cup matches next month.

“He’ll certainly play in the NAB Cup. To what extent I’m not sure but we would have thought he’d play at least the last couple of NAB Cup games.” Jamison said.

“I think he’s well ahead of schedule even though the surgery was quite minor in the end anyway so he’ll probably have another couple of weeks with no contact and then he’ll be back.”

Carlton will play Adelaide and Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on February 26.
