New South Wales feature racing will return to Rosehill on Saturday for Lord Mayors Cup day. The eight race meeting consists of big even fields which will provide punters plenty of value in our selections.

The weather looks good ahead of the meeting and we are likely to be racing on a good track which will give all runners their chance in the races.

Race One: Centrebet Juvenile Stayer 1800m Form Guide

Back Me: Drago went very close last start in the Champagne Stakes last start which is a good form line for this race. You wont get any big odds but he will be winning.
Don’t Back Me: Artistic Lass is yet to win from five starts so far and i highly doubt that will change on Saturday.
Big Danger: Ideal Guide didn’t handle the wet last start and will be better on the top of the ground and looks the obvious danger to the favourite.
Roughie:Our Zidane is lightly raced and should relish the extra distance, although i dont think he is a winning chance.

Back Me: Harada Bay runs well fresh and was scratched mid week were i had him as my best to contest this race. At good odds and should go close.
Don’t Back Me: Amorino has had six starts at the distance for no placings. At the odds you are taking a risk.
Big Danger: Gullible has been running in some good fields of late and finds a much more winnable race here.
Roughie: Hunter Jack had no luck last start and should have gone close. Drops in weight with the class rise but i think he has the quality to match it with this field at good odds.

Back Me: Anevay finds a very winnable race first up on Saturday and has had two trials to switch her on for the race and looks hard to beat.
Don’t Back Me: Sweet Little Lies looked like she needed the extra distance last start but has been kept to the 1100m again watch for her over further.
Big Danger: My Sabeel loves the distance and has a great record second up and on paper looks the only danger to our on top selection.
Roughie: Fast And Sexy is a very good horse and despite not being suited first up and over the distance class can sometimes provale and should be including in your multiples.

Race Four: Sportingbet (bm75) 1900m Form Guide

Back Me: Fancy Dress has won her last two starts and should improve with the extra distance. Will jump at big odds and looks a big chance in the race.
Don’t Back Me: Queenstown led and faded last start. Finds an easier field here but with what looks like a bit of speed she wont get any favours.
Big Danger: Laser Flash will carry the top weight but has a good record over the distance and has a lot of quality on his side.
Roughie: Kim Dynasty wasn’t disgraced in a good field last start and should improve from the run. Looks a good each way bet at $19.

Back Me: Waikiki Gold was posted wide throughout last start but wasn’t beaten far, won his two starts before that and should handle the extra distance.
Don’t Back Me: Index Linked won well last start but finds a good field here and from barrier 17 looks a risk at the odds.
Big Danger: Trick Shot beat a decent field last start after having the run of the race which he should get again on Saturday and should go close.
Roughie: Romanus always runs a good race and at $26 looks a decent chance in an open field.

Race Six: Fujitsu Air Lord Mayors Cup 2000m Form Guide

Back Me: Crafty Irna hasn’t been the punters friend this preparation but i think she can change that on Saturday were she is at huge odds in a very winnable race.
Don’t Back Me: Pirate Bay ran well last start but is a noted to be better in the wet which he wont get on Saturday.
Big Danger: Hoylonny was disappointing last start but you can put a line through that race seeings it was on a heavy track. Before that she was very good against Lights Of Heaven who has won since and she looks the horse to beat.
Roughie: Strike The Stars didn’t handle the wet last start and before that ran wide but closed strongly in a good race. Looks overs in the betting at $16.

Back Me: Eucumbene is yet to lose second up. I had him on top last weekend but he was scratched, finds a similar field here and i think he is great value in the market.
Don’t Back Me: Pampelonne drops in class but goes up steeply in the weights and i think in a quality field he is well under the odds.
Big Danger: Under The Sun ran very well in the wet last start and will be better on top of the ground and loves Rosehill.
Roughie: Hidden Warrior gets in well in the weights and from barrier two will get an easy run in transit.

Back Me: Happy Hussy is good first up and loves the track and the distance. Will get every chance from barrier 3 and looks a great bet at $10.
Don’t Back Me: Forarainyday hasn’t won at the track, hasn’t won at the distance and hasn’t won second up.
Big Danger: Zauberflote goes well first up and likes the trip, will be having her toughest test but looks to be a horse on the way up.
Roughie: Stratana had no favours last start when racing wide. Will get a better run on Saturday and foes better second up. Currently at huge odds of $51.
