The Jets are the early form team of the A-League and with Ernie Merrick leading them this season there are no signs that their match against the Mariners was a fluke performance. The Jets have built on their strengths, pairing Roy O’Donovan with Andrew Nabbout and recruited a proven defender in Georgievski.
The Glory are a step up in opposition from Central Coast last weekend and the first real test for the Jets under Merrick. The Wanderers stretched the Glory defence and found plenty of gaps to exploit. If the Jets can contain Diego Castro and Xavi Torres they will win this match.
