Kangaroos star Josh Dugan has been taken to hospital for scans on a suspected fractured cheekbone suffered in the Anzac Test.
Dugan came from the ground early in the second half of Friday night’s match in Canberra after a heavy head clash with St George Illawarra teammate Russell Packer.
If a fracture is confirmed, it would be a major blow for Dugan’s high-flying NRL club and make it tough for him to be fit for NSW for the first State Of Origin match on May 31, in Brisbane.
