Chiefs coach Dave Rennie has kept the same starting team which dismantled the Blues 29-14 last week for Friday’s third-round Super Rugby match against the Crusaders in Napier.
The only changes come on the bench, where Mike Fitzgerald and Jackson Willison have replaced Fritz Lee and Declan O’Donnell.
Rennie says the Crusaders will be dangerous after falling 27-24 to the Highlanders in Dunedin in their second-round match last week.
“The Crusaders will come back fighting after last week’s loss, and we’re keen to keep our momentum going so it’s going to be an intense contest.
“This is a big game for us and the boys know it.”
The match is an official Crusaders home fixture, with their new home ground at Rugby League Park in Addington expected to be ready for their next match in Christchurch against the Cheetahs on March 24.
